My Story

At the age of sixteen I started my baking adventure with the help of the Business Advisory Center in Cobourg and opened my first pop-up bakery. What started as a summer business quickly grew into a passion and a career. I proceeded to work in local bakeries and go to school at Centennial College for Baking and Pastry Arts Management. There I was given the opportunity to participate in competitions and went on to place 3rd in the Ontario Skills competition for Baking. Post graduation I worked at other bakeries until 2021 when I moved to Tyendianga and with a supportive family and a lot of hard work I was fortunate enough to be able to open my own bakery and Semi-Sweet Treats was born! We are a dedicated Gluten-Free bakery and offer lots of dairy free and vegan options as well. We believe everyone should be able to have their cake and eat it too despite their allergies!
